Košarkašice BiH saznale rivale u borbi za historijski nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu

Ženska košarkaška reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine saznala je rivale u kvalifikacijama za Svjetsko prvenstvo koje se igra u Australiji naredne godine, a izabranice Gorana Loje igrat će u grupi protiv Japana, Kanade i Bjelorusije.
Nakon fantastičnog nastupa na Evropskom prvenstvu proteklog ljeta i osvojenog petog mjesta košarkašice BiH su se izborile za kvalifikacije koje nam mogu donijeti premijerni nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu.
U kvalifikacijama će nastupiti najboljih 16 selekcija planete i tu će biti podijeljene u četiri grupe. Naše košarkašice imaju veliku šansu jer čak tri selekcije od četiri iz grupe idu na Mundobasket 2022. godine.
Žrijeb kvalifikacionih grupa održan je u švicarskoj Ženevi, a parove je izvlačila proslavljena srbijanska košarkašica Sonja Vasić.
Voljom žrijeba odlučeno je da košarkašice BiH igraju protiv Japana, Kanade i Bjelorusije.
Kvalifikacioni turniri će se igrati u tri grada, to su Beograd, Washington i Osaka, a kvalifikacije se igraju u februaru naredne godine. Svi mečevi bit će odigrani u terminu od 10. do 13. februara 2022. godine, a Svjetsko prvenstvo igra se u septembru u Australiji.
Grupe kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo:
Grupa A (Beograd): Srbija, Australija, Brazil i Južna Koreja.
Grupa B (Beograd): Francuska, Kina, Nigerija i Mali.
Grupa C (Osaka): Japan, Kanada, Bjelorusija i Bosna i Hercegovina.
Grupa D (Washington): SAD, Belgija, Rusija i Portoriko.
